CHRIS SUTTON: Lacklustre Man City are crying out for the return of super Sergio Aguero after what was one of the dullest Manchester derbies ever

This has to go down as one of the most drab Manchester derbies of all time. That is partly because City have been looking very un-City-like of late, despite the occasional injection of brilliance by Kevin De Bruyne.

They didn't go for the jugular against United, and haven't been clicking in the final third without Sergio Aguero.

In the first 11 fixtures of 2018-19, City scored 33 goals. In 2019-20, they got 34. This season they've hit 17, with five of those coming against Burnley a fortnight ago.

Pep Guardiola has moved from using a 4-3-3 to a 4-2-3-1 with two sitting midfielders.
