Burnley are working on a deal to sign Gustavo Hamer from Coventry with the midfielder valued at about £15million.
The Dutch-Brazilian was one of the stars of the last Championship season, helping the Sky Blues reach the play-off final, where they were beaten on penalties by Luton.
With only one year remaining on his contract, Hamer is an attractive proposition for a number of clubs and is highly regarded by Burnley boss Vincent Kompany.
Mail Sport understands the clubs have held talks as Burnley - promoted to the Premier League last term - try to structure a deal that Coventry will accept.
