Burnley prepare to make January move for Livingston defender Jack Fitzwater, as Sean Dyche seeks reinforcements amid growing relegation concerns

Burnley and Watford are weighing up a move for Livingston central defender Jack Fitzwater.

The 24-year old is a former graduate of West Brom's academy and has been impressing in the Scottish Premiership this season making 28 appearances overall.

His displays have prompted glowing reports from Premier League and Championship scouts with a number of clubs looking out for centre backs.

Fitzwater is under contract until 2023 but Livingston would be willing to sell if Burnley or Watford firm up their interest.

Burnley in particular have been scouring the market for a defender and, with their budget limited, a bargain deal for Birmingham-born Fitzwater could suit.
