The pressure is on new signing Steven Defour to make an immediate impact when Burnley face Liverpool in the Premier League at Turf Moor on Saturday.
Bought from Anderlecht for £7.5 million, Defour will be expected to add the drive and determination the Clarets require from their central midfield following the departure of Joey Barton to Rangers at the end of last season.
Defour will need to get up to speed immediately as he makes his English football debut after Sean Dyche's men started the season with a 1-0 defeat to Swansea City last weekend.
The 28-year-old looks a smart addition, but there are question marks over his temperament -- the Barton parallels continue -- although Dyche obviously believes he is worth the risk, having made the trip to Belgium in person to persuade Defour to join the club.
