Burnley, Luton Town and Sheffield United aim to transform Premier League seasons

Played 19, won one.

Luton's historic win at Everton on Saturday was not only their first-ever Premier League victory, it was the first three points for any of the newly promoted teams this season.

Before this campaign, the worst combined points total for the three new top-flight sides after six games each was nine in 2004-05. Two of those three sides - Crystal Palace and Norwich - were relegated.

Between them, Luton, Sheffield United and Burnley have picked up just six points so far. That is with the Blades having played seven matches: they and the Clarets have gained a single point each.
