Burnley FC Women kick off their new league campaign against Derby County Ladies at Padiham FC’s Ruby Civil Arena on Sunday.
Following back-to-back promotions and a successful pre-season, Burnley will be playing in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division for the 2019/20 campaign, the third tier in the women’s football pyramid and the highest level the Clarets' women’s side has competed in throughout their long history.
Burnley FC Women First Team Manager, Matt Bee said: “The season ahead is an exciting one for the club and the fact that we are competing in this division for the first time ever highlights our rapid rise over the last three seasons.
