A host of Premier League clubs and Championship side Aston Villa are hoping to sign Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson on loan, sources close to the player have told ESPN FC.
West Ham, Stoke, Sunderland, Watford, Burnley, Hull and Aston Villa have all made enquiries to Arsenal to see if they can sign Jenkinson on loan in the New Year.
Jenkinson is currently down the pecking order at the Emirates, but manager Arsene Wenger remains a fan of the defender and is keen to see him earn more valuable first-team experience out on loan before returning to the club.
