Antonio Conte demands his Tottenham stars 'be angry in the same way I'm angry', as he apologises for his quit threats after talks with Daniel Levy - but admits he can't hide his disappointment in public

Antonio Conte insists he is 'committed' to Tottenham after questioning his future at the club following his side's disappointing 1-0 defeat to Burnley on Wednesday.

Conte had sparked concern that he was going to walk away from the North London club after his side suffered their fourth defeat in five Premier League games.

However, Conte says he never came close to resigning but did admit that his players will 'need to continue to work very hard' under his tutelage.

When asked whether he came close to resigning at Tottenham's pre-match press conference, Conte said: 'No but I think my words were very, very clear and I said that it is not normal in the last 5 games to lose 4 games.
