Andre Gray sharp as Burnley show they can compete in opener vs. Swansea

A tight game seemed likely to be settled by a single goal and the eventual winner went against Burnley in their 1-0 loss to Swansea City.

Swansea grew in confidence as the game progressed and their extra quality off the bench showed. Jefferson Montero's introduction was key and the Clarets' lack of squad depth was highlighted.

Positives

Burnley did not look overawed and while it took them a while to settle into the game they had periods of dominance in which they could have scored.
