SB Nation 2019 NHL Mock Draft: We have a trade to announce

After the St. Louis Blues won their first Stanley Cup in team history, the Buffalo Sabres were locked into the 31st pick in round one. That pick was part of the compensation from the Ryan O’Reilly trade last summer.

After selecting Cole Caufield earlier in the SB Nation Mock Draft, we decided to use the other first-round pick to get immediate help for the team.

Therefore we reached an agreement on a deal with the Minnesota Wild (Hockey Wilderness). Here are the details of the trade:

Wild receive: 31st pick and Alex Nylander

Zucker would step right into the top-six for Buffalo and make an immediate impact offensively.
