The Buffalo Sabres announced they’ve come to terms on a two-year entry-level contract with forward Victor Olofsson. The 22-year-old was selected in the seventh-round (181 overall) in the 2014 NHL Draft by the Sabres.
He’s coming over to North America next season after playing three seasons in the Swedish elite league. The past two years he’s played with Frolunda in the SHL.
He was a hot prospect to watch throughout the season. The scoring winger led the league in goals with 27. Olofsson registered a total of 43 points in 50 games for the Indians this past season.
