The Buffalo Sabres have re-signed forward Sean Malone to a one-year, two-way contract.

The 23-year-old will play the upcoming season with the Rochester Americans, his second professional season. Last season was his first in the AHL.

In 73 games with the Amerks, Malone put up 22 points, including 12 goals. He also added two assists in three Calder Cup playoff games.
