The Sabres added to their defensive depth for 2017-’18, re-signing Taylor Fedun to a two-year, two-way deal.
Fedun was a pleasant surprise for the Sabres this year, notching a career-high seven points in 27 games. He had the highest Corsi of any player on the team. He’s dealt with a severe leg injury in the past and had never played more than seven games in a season before 2016-’17.
The Sabres defensive corps currently features Rasmus Ristolainen, Jake McCabe, Zach Bogosian, Josh Gorges, Nathan Beaulieu, Justin Falk, Victor Antipin and Fedun.
Here’s the official press release from the Sabres:
“The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has signed defenseman Taylor Fedun to a two-year, two-way contract.
