Yesterday the Sabres released their full schedule for the 2018-19 season. We found out on Wednesday that they’ll open the season at home against the Boston Bruins on October 4th.
Today we found out that they’ll open the season with a four game home stand against the Bruins, New York Rangers, Vegas Golden Knights and Colorado Avalanche.
After that four-game home stand, they’ll head out West for a five-game road trip, similar to last season. In an odd scheduling quirk the Sabres will play both of their games against the Golden Knights in the first six games of the season.
