Sabres re-sign Girgensons for two more years

The Buffalo Sabres announced today that the team has re-signed RFA Zemgus Girgensons to a two-year contract worth an average of $1.6 million per year.

With the Girgensons signing, the Sabres have signed all of their remaining restricted free agents, and the roster should be set heading in to training camp next month.

After breaking out in 2014-15 under then-coach Ted Nolan, Girgensons has scored just seven goals in each of the past two seasons while playing in over 70 games each year.
