The Buffalo Sabres made a significant move that could prove to be a great hire going forward. Elliotte Friedman was the first to report on Twitter that Buffalo was set to hire former Pittsburgh Penguins front office member Sam Ventura to join the front office in Buffalo. Ventura will have the title of Vice President of hockey research and strategy.
