Through the first five games of the season, the results have been disappointing to the Sabres – just one win in five games. In three of those four losses they scored just one goal.
“I still think we can do a much better job in that regard in … having more of a mentality of getting pucks to the net and getting more people at the net to cash in on those opportunities,” coach Dan Bylsma said.
