The Buffalo Sabres and Florida Panthers got together for the third time this season in South Beach. First time since the chippy ending back in Buffalo at the beginning of February.
Florida took the lead early 1:25 into the game. The Sabres lost a defensive zone draw and with Kyle Okposo overplaying his man. Mike Matheson is able to skate into the slot and beat Robin Lehner high blocker.
Four minutes later Sam Reinhart continued his hot streak by tying the game. Victor Antipin lets a quick point shot go that was deflected and ended up on the stick of O’Reilly.
