The Sabres training camp roster is a bit more manageable, as the team has cut 17 players from the squad.
Justin Bailey, Evan Rodrigues and William Carrier are the most notable names who were sent to Rochester. Joining them is Eric Cornel, Jean Dupuy, Vaclav Karabacek, Justin Kea, Brady Austin, Brycen Martin and Jason Kasdorf.
Cole Schneider and Daniel Catenacci will both need to clear waivers to report to Rochester. Five additional players were released from their professional tryouts and will report to Rochester for training camp: Matthew Lane, Daniel Muzito-Bagenda, Mac Bennett, Paul Geiger and John Muse.
