Sabres continue to add depth with the signing of Steven Fogarty

The Buffalo Sabres announced the addition for another depth forward this morning. They’ve signed forward Steven Fogarty to a one-year deal worth the league minimum of $700k. He’s the fourth player that the Sabres have signed to a league minimum deal during this free agent period.

The 27-year-old forward has spent the last four years with the New York Rangers organization playing primarily in the AHL for the Hartford Wolfpack. He does have 18 games of NHL experience, but this is primarily a signing for the AHL. He was a third-round pick of the Rangers back in 2011.
