Sabres at Canadiens Recap: Secondary scoring leads Sabres to 4-2 win

Goals from Foligno, Larsson, McGinn, and Gionta powered the Sabres to victory over the Canadiens.

One of the biggest NHL story lines of the past few months has been the downfall of the Montreal Canadiens. Tonight, the Buffalo Sabres helped pile on to that slump thanks to a 4-2 comeback victory over the slumping Habs.

The Sabres got their second half off to a good start thanks to an unlikely source - Marcus Foligno earned a promotion tonight to the second line and rewarded Dan Bylsma's decision with the opening goal of the game, putting a wrister from Zemgus Girgensons past Mike Condon for the 1-0 lead.
