If The Factor’s Injury is serious, expect Buffalo to fall in the standings.
Ryan O’Reilly was held out of Sunday’s game between the Buffalo Sabres and the Pittsburgh Penguins, and from the sounds of it, he won’t be back any time soon.
O’Reilly suffered a lower body injury against the Columbus Blue Jackets Friday evening, and was seen limping in the locker room following the game. While details are sketchy at the moment, at least three sources reported that it sounds as if this will be a long-term injury that could keep The Factor out for a few weeks.
