The Rochester Americans completed an incredible third-period comeback on Wednesday night, defeating the St. John’s IceCaps by a score of 6-5.
Here’s the thing, though. Before they won 6-5, the Amerks were down 5-1 until almost nine minutes into the third period.
The Rochester Americans are currently battling for a playoff spot, with just 12 games remaining in the regular season.
The Amerks currently sit 10th in their conference with a record of 32-29-2-1 and 67 points.
As usual, the Toronto Marlies are atop the conference, with a phenomenal record of 46-15-5-0 and 97 points.
