Report: Skinner Agrees to Waive NMC for Expansion Draft

With just three days remaining before the Buffalo Sabres must hand in their list of protected players to the National Hockey League, news out of Buffalo this morning appears to have made general manager Kevyn Adams’ job a little easier.

Skinner is coming off the worst statistical season in his 11 year NHL career, where he only amassed 14 points (seven goals, seven assists) in 53 games.

With six years, and an annual nine million dollar AAV, remaining on his eight year contract, it is highly unlikely that the Seattle Kraken will pick up Skinner’s contract.
