According to reports the Buffalo Sabres will be adding another defenseman to the mix in Lawrence Pilut. The Swedish defender will come over from HV71 of the SHL.
Pilut won the SHL championship last season with HV71 and followed that up by leading all defenseman in scoring with eight goals and 38 in 52 games this past season.
The 22-year-old is a left shot defenseman that has offensive upside. Similar to the type of reports we heard last offseason on Victor Antipin.
