Report: Sabres Sign Vinnie Hinostroza

Per a report by Elliotte Friedman, the Buffalo Sabres are signing free agent forward Vinnie Hinostroza. Details of the contract have not been disclosed yet, and the team has not officially announced the signing yet.

Hinostroza is a 27-year-old center who is another decent bottom-six addition for the Sabres. The Chicago-area native was drafted by the Blackhawks with the 169th overall pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

In 272 career NHL games, Hinostroza has recorded 38 goals and 74 assists for 112 points.

This past season, he appeared in 26 games and put up 12 points (4-8), split between Chicago and the Florida Panthers.
