The game wasn’t perfect, but for the Buffalo Sabres, the final score certainly was.
Robin Lehner made 37 saves for his first shutout of the season as the Buffalo Sabres downed the Ottawa Senators by a final score of 4-0.
Lehner was strong throughout the night, including making 16 saves in the third period, en route to his long awaited shutout. Over his last two games, Lehner has made 79 saves on 81 shots, and made a number of “Grade A saves,” tonight, according to the returning Jake McCabe.
Tonight wasn’t only a night to celebrate Lehner, however, tonight was a night where all the Sabres big guns came to play.
