If you regularly read this blog, you know that generally we do not blame the refs for a Sabres loss. The team has been bad enough on its own over the past few years, and it’s just not worth the hot air to take it to the stripes for a loss.
But tonight, in Dallas, the Sabres got the butt end of the stick as far as the calls went.
The Sabres had three very ticky-tack penalty calls against and two goals disallowed in the third period - including one after everyone had gone to the dressing rooms - in a 4-3 loss to Dallas.
