This evening the Buffalo Sabres lost another embarrassing game on national television to the hands of the Philadelphia Flyers, 6-3.
However, looking on the bright side, Buffalo Sabres star Jack Eichel had a milestone night. During the 2nd Period, Eichel scored on the power play to tie the game at two apiece. This goal gave Eichel 100 points in his young career.
I’m glad Eichel reached such a milestone by scoring a goal – assists are great and all, but had Eichel’s 100th point come courtesy of the secondary assist he got on Evander Kane’s power play goal, it would have been nowhere near as cool.
