Injury Report: October 27

The Buffalo Sabres released an updated organizational injury report on Sunday morning.

Starting from the minors, the Rochester Americans are still moving forward without their forward Taylor Leier.

For Leier, offseason shoulder surgery continues to be the reason he is on the shelf. As stated by the report, Leier is out indefinitely but will be a welcome addition to the Americans lineup when healthy.

Speaking of offseason surgery, goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen finds himself upgraded to week-to-week.

Luukkonen underwent hip surgery in April and was given a six month recovery timeframe.

Last month, Jason Botterill told media that he hopes Luukkonen can begin playing in Rochester beginning in early November.
