If Buffalo Sabres fans aren’t familiar with the name Victor Olofsson yet, they may want to learn a little bit more about the player who could be considered the team’s hottest prospect right now.
The 23-year-old right winger is finding early success in his first season in North America. After playing the last five seasons in Sweden, Olofsson made the jump to the United States this season and has been suiting up for the Rochester Americans.
With 15 points (5-10) in the first 10 games of the season, Olofsson was recently named CCM/AHL Player of the Month for October.
