Guhle, Fasching strong as offense dominates in 7-4 win

Buffalo showed no signs of dwelling on its overtime loss against New Jersey, putting on an offensive clinic in a 7-4 victory against the Boston Bruins.

The two teams played a back and forth game for the first two periods. The Sabres scored first and Boston answered soon after. Buffalo pulled away in the third, going on a three-goal run thanks to Nick Baptiste, C.J. Smith and Vaclav Karabacek. Boston scored once in the final frame to bring it to 6-4, but Hudson Fasching swung the one last blow with a minute remaining in the game.
