Yesterday the Buffalo Sabres announced that Zach Bogosian has been placed on the Injured Reserves and will be out indefinitely.
This move didn’t surprise anyone as Bogosian is still recovering from hip surgery he had in late April. Still there is reason for concern.
Bogosian had surgery on his opposite hip during the summer of 2018 and even missed the first 6 games of the 2018-19 season during his recovery. While on the ice Bogosian played his typical hard-nosed style of defense, but as the wear and tear of the season went on his other hip started to give him issues.
