The NHL offseason just seems days away. The eyes of the hockey world will be watching the Buffalo Sabres as they will be the only team without a coach. The Florida Panthers are nearing a deal with Bob Boughner, who the Sabres interviewed.
This is not a bad thing though. This leaves the
Sabres able to speak to their top two candidates, Phil Housley, and Rick Tocchet.
Various reports came out when Botterill was hired that he wanted Tocchet. Now reports are out saying the Sabres are awaiting their former defensemen Phil Housley.
