After just shy of a week away from action, the Buffalo Sabres return to the ice tonight, visiting the Boston Bruins for the first time this season.
All NHL teams have had at least two days off, mandatory per the CBA. No practices, no games and no travel – which meant the Sabres couldn’t fly into Boston until just this morning.
Of course, the big storyline heading into tonight’s game: Jack Eichel‘s homecoming. He’ll almost certainly have a load of friends and family in the crowd tonight as he plays his first NHL game in Massachusetts.
