While the fanbase may be divided over just how close the 2015-16 Buffalo Sabres were to making the playoffs, there really is not much debate about one thing: even if the current Sabres roster could get the team into the postseason in 2017, it is going to take more for this team to earn more than a quick out in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
