Buffalo Sabres Tyler Ennis Scores Gold Medal-Winning Goal

Buffalo Sabres forward Tyler Ennis scored the game-winning goal on Sunday as Team Canada defeated Russia to win the gold medal at the 2015 IIHF World Championships.

Ennis had a goal and an assist in the win, plus two shots and a plus-2 in 13:01 ice time. Also scoring for Canada in the 6-1 rout were Cody Eakin, Claude Giroux, Nathan MacKinnon, Sidney Crosby and Tyler Seguin. Evgeni Malkin had the lone goal for Russia, who won the silver medal.
