The Buffalo Sabres discussed all offseason long, how they wanted to honor the franchise’s history during their 50th season.
On opening night they did not disappoint. They started off with a hype video showing the highlights from the franchise’s first 50 years. I have to say, I don’t know of another sports franchise that does hype videos as well as the Buffalo Sabres, I had goosebumps watching it live. You can watch it here.
My personal favorite part of the video is when they show the 1999 Stanley Cup Finals along with the words “No Goal” in the background.
