The Buffalo Sabres selected six players in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft earlier this year in Sunrise, Florida. The most infamous, of course, is second-overall selection Jack Eichel, but today, we look at the second selection the Buffalo Sabres made that weekend: Brendan Guhle.
Guhle, 18, was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres with the 51st overall selection in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
The Sherwood Park native has spent the last two seasons playing with the WHL’s Prince Albert Raiders.
The defenseman put up 10 points (all assists) and 29 penalty minutes in his rookie season (2013-14), before notching 32 points, including five goals, in 72 games last season.
