Although the Buffalo Sabres’ final preseason game against Columbus Friday night ended in a 6-4 loss, the Sabres were able to continue to work on team chemistry, finding potential powerhouse lineups before heading into opening night this week against the Ottawa Senators.

The first and second periods proved to be difficult, calling for Coach Bylsma to make more modifications to the lineups. Those necessary changes led the team to rally in the third period.
Jamie McGinn scored twice for the Sabres. Zemgus Girgensons, with an assist from Sam Reinhart, also put a number up.
