The Buffalo Sabres have had some great playoff memories in the history of the franchise. None are better when the team is playing against a rivalry – and gets the jump on the other team. That has happened a few times in history, but none more exciting when the Buffalo Sabres beat the Philadelphia Flyers 8-2 in the 2006 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
