The Florida Panthers and Buffalo Sabres faced off five times last season, and while the Panthers were neither great nor awful last season, the sample size against Buffalo tipped them to the higher end of the scale.
In the end, however, the Panthers finished the year seven points out of a playoff spot. They ended the year 38-29-15 with a minus-17 goal differential. The Panthers went 21-13-7 at home and 17-16-8 at home.
