Yesterday, a few deals happened throughout the league, so before we consider what Tim Murray has up his sleeve for today, let’s recap what’s happened so far.
In the first trade of Sunday afternoon, the Carolina Hurricanes made a bit of a surprise move, sending Eric Staal to the New York Rangers.
In exchange, the Hurricanes pick up forward prospect Aleksi Saarela and second-round picks in 2016 and 2017.
