There’s no way to sugarcoat it: Buffalo Sabres forward Matt Moulson is not having the ideal season.

The struggling forward has just 12 points in 38 games this season, including four goals and eight assists.

Moulson hasn’t registered a point in nearing a month, when he had an assist against the Calgary Flames.

He hasn’t scored since November 1st, a span of 26 games – and isn’t even on pace to score 10 goals this season. His no-goal streak of 26 games is the longest of his career to date.

All of that combined led to Matt Moulson finally being named a healthy scratch, a move that many Buffalo Sabres fans had been waiting for.
