The Buffalo Sabres blueline will get a much-needed boost with the likely return of defenseman Mark Pysyk to the NHL club this week, it appears.
Pysyk, who turns 24 today, has spent the last few days rehabbing in Rochester with the AHL’s Americans, but it seems like he’s ready to come back to the big league.

Pysyk has been out of the lineup since mid-November with a bone bruise that reportedly also featured a break.
