The Buffalo Sabres lose another late game against the Chicago Blackhawks for their 6th straight loss. It seems likes no matter how close of a game it is, the blue and gold just can’t pull through and close the game out.
Losing 3-1 to the Blackhawks (Toews with an empty netter) late in the game is something we’ve already seen this season.
Earlier this season, the Sabres dropped a heartbreaker at home that saw Buffalo native Patrick Kane score late in the third to send the game to overtime.
With the Sabres getting scored on with under five minutes left and Jonathan Toews adding an empty-netter, it was yet another loss where we can so say we were so close.
