Good morning, Buffalo Sabres fans! With the introduction of the June month upon us, we can now say that this is (likely) the month where Jack Eichel officially becomes a member of the Buffalo Sabres.
Wow. That’s just a little weird to think about, eh? While it’s obviously to be determined whether or not Eichel actually joins Buffalo next season or if he decides to return to college, this month, he’ll likely be drafted by the Buffalo team.
This month, Connor McDavid will also likely join the Edmonton Oilers franchise; either the Tampa Bay Lightning or the Chicago Blackhawks will become Stanley Cup Champions, and at least some NHLers will prepare for the impending free agency in just a month.
