Good morning, Buffalo Sabres fans. After Wednesday’s exciting game 7 overtime victory by the New York Rangers, NHL fans had a night of no-hockey yesterday…. with another on the horizon for today. There are no games on tap for this Friday, but get ready for this weekend.
Saturday afternoon, the Rangers and Lightning will kick off their series. Sunday afternoon, it’ll be the Blackhawks and Ducks starting their own round.
The one downfall to all of this: it leaves NHL fans with no games on Saturday night, or Sunday night, for that matter. Now, I don’t pretend to speak for everyone else, but I’m not a huge fan of afternoon games in general, particularly at this stage in the playoffs.
