Today being Tuesday means we’re one day closer to the NHL Draft, and growing ever closer to a) Jack Eichel probably becoming a member of the Buffalo Sabres, b) Eichel making his decision as to whether he’ll join the NHL squad immediately or return to college and c) free agency.
One of the oft-talked about topics relating to the Buffalo Sabres and the upcoming free agent period is the need for a starting goaltender.
One team that’s been linked in rumors to the Sabres in this respect: the Ottawa Senators, who may reportedly be looking to trade a goaltender, possibly even prior to this Friday’s draft.
