As the trade deadline of 3 p.m. on March 1 fast approaches, I am sure Buffalo Sabres GM Tim Murray is working the phones.
Some fans still believe that GMTM should try to trade Evander Kane, as he has the most value (aside from the players we would consider untouchable). Other people tend to think that a defenseman, such as Dmitry Kulikov or Cody Franson (or both, fingers crossed!), is much more likely to get shipped out of town.
As always, there is a Plan C, and that involves Buffalo’s crop of goaltenders. With Robin Lehner set to become an RFA, and Anders Nilsson a UFA, the Sabres have a decision to make.
